Oil & Fuel Max25 fuel shutoff

My 2014 Max25 has no fuel shutoff that I can find. How do other owners deal with this when servicing the fuel filter? My dealer skipped town and the entire state of Maine has no Mahindra dealer that I'm aware of.

Put a shutoff valve inline between the filter and the tank. That's been done plenty of times.

Hint: Pinch the hose near the tank before cutting...

The fuel shut off is built into the filter housing, as you unscrew the filter bowl it will shut off.
There is a plunger that the bowl pushes on to turn the fuel on and when taken off it shuts off.

And when replacing the filter make sure you either replace the small oring in the center of the filter or swap it from the old filter.
