I had more firewood to start the season than ever, but it is disappearing fast. Got a few more small logs to cut today, and sharpen a couple of chains...I got a new chain saw sharpener for Christmas, and actually enjoyed using it the first time the other day. This is the first year I haven't bought any new chains, but I do need a new bar. When it is this cold it seems as you can almost slice the bar oil as you try to pour it. I've got some splitting to do, too, but wouldn't even think of trying to wake up my B&S when it is this cold.

Just heard on the news that the Powerball and Megamillions are over $400MM. My wife won $20 on a Christmas scratch ticket...that's a jackpot for us. I may buy a ticket when I go to the gym today...anybody want part of the $400 million after I win? A few years ago when the jackpot got this big, just for fun, I asked my sister, how much I would need to give her to satisfy her if I won...she didn't hesitate to tell me $12 million. I though maybe I was getting off pretty cheaply.
