I saw the other post about a CK2610 gelling up. Same happened to me today. Its been -10 for the past week straight. I used the additive to prevent gelling. Same thing as the other post, started rough, ran a couple minutes then surging up and down. Then would die.

This happened last year to me as well. Do they make a fuel heater that I can install to never have these issues? If so, anyone have the part number and how to install it?

I'll put my two cents in.
Look at the cost of a heater, the time to install it, the cost of electricity and how many hours you spend operating in below zero temps.
I would run number 1 fuel. That's what it is made for.

Most gas stations that sell diesel fuel switch to a winter blend around October

The fuel heater isn’t something that runs off the tractor while it’s running?

Yes there is one on the tractor when it is running. It's not going to start if the fuel is gelled.
An axillary heater is an option to keep the fuel from gelling while parked outside.

Anyone have the part number for the heater on the tractor? It ran for 5 minutes or so before it would die.

Power service 911 if fuel is gelled

I don't think the heater is your problem. Pull the filter and check it first. Make sure the fuel is flowing through.

If it will run put power service 911 in the tank mix it up , start the tractor let it idle. I did 3 snow plow trucks 2 macks 1 ih never opened a hood

Absolutely, as long as it starts.
If it doesn't start, check the filter.
