Harbor Freight Tools that don't suck

I prefer the stuffed-olive slender glass jars. Even if there are dis-similar objects in one jar I can find that odd item - for example a sewing thimble - faster than popping open dozens of drawers.

I'd rather go with plastic jars or metal cans than glass...a lot less hazardous when ol' butterfingers drops one. :(

Harbor freight 12 ton stands for fixing flats. They are a good height.View attachment 529951

Don't worry, it's only flat on the bottom. :D

I bought two of the 30 bin racks when they were on sale for $15, but have yet to mount them. Gotta clear up some wall space. They'll be used mostly for all those 1lb boxes of trim screws, deck screws, Tapcons, etc.. All my screws/bolts/nuts/washers go in clear plastic jars (mayo, pickle). One jar for each type (machine, countersunk wood, pan head, etc.).

Then, a couple of THESE -

are indispensable for dumping out the jars to find exactly what's needed.

Yes! Those are indispensable. Can hardly dispense without them! :)

Really, one of the handiest products that HF sells.

What do you call them? They do look handy.

3 Bin Wall Mount Parts Rack

Anyone use the above? I am just a homeowner, not a commercial repair guy. Building up the usual assortment of nuts, bolts, screws and whatsits from projects. Like to keep the left overs organized so when the next project comes along I don't have to run to the hardware store.

So I do not need anything too beefy, it will get some occasional use.
I've two and use them primarily for nuts, bolts, washers etc.

Checking hfqpdb they often have a coupon for $14 http://www.hfqpdb.com/coupons/329_ITEM_30_BIN_WALL_MOUNT_PARTS_RACK_1506754480.3502.png

And note that the 1"x 30" BELT SANDER has a coupon for $40. This is an excellent sander for sharpening knives.

Highly recommended! These are ideal to dump out a random mix, say nuts/bolts/washers of one size - to find the one lockwasher you know was in there, and then pour everything back into the container.

Can't believe I've never seen them either. How handy would they "had been".
