"One snippet of information" was actually a phone call to Travis at the time I was interested in ordering from EA.
Travis told me $75 extra for home delivery, plus $125 for lift gate (he seems to have a different view on that now).
"assumptions"?
I always determine the delivered cost before ordering anything.
To me, "FREE SHIPPING" means FREE SHIPPING .... directly to ME.
Amazon does not have my FREE SHIPPING orders dropped off at a gas station some 15 towns distant.
They frequently offer FREE SHIPPING, and the item always does seem to come right to my door.

"wasted a bunch of people's time"?
Are you under duress?
Are some folks being forced to read TBN?

Ask Amazon if they offer free Prime Shipping on a Grapple? BTW, Prime Shipping isn’t free either, you pay an annual fee for the pleasure.

“Are some folks being forced to read TBN?” No one is forcing you to keep coming back to this thread either. After your 3rd Post you’ve just been repeating yourself. 🤮

Seriously, let it go and move on. If you don't want the grapple, just get the one you want and then have fun using it. Coming on here and posting once or twice in a constructive criticism manner is fine. To keep posting, and getting all emotional about it totally detracts from the point you are trying to make. Now your original post is totally lost and it has gone from posting something you don't agree with, into a personal argument with several members on here. As you said, you don't have read this post, but you keep coming back to it. Again, let it go and move on....

I got my grapple from EA, and I actually READ about the delivery BEFORE I made the purchase. Then when I called Travis, he explained it to me again, and gave me the options of where I could pick it up, or how much it would cost to deliver it to my house. Too be honest, if the inconvenience of picking up the grapple would have been too bad, I would have just gotten a Land Pride from Messick's. It's part of the investment. I wanted to get the best (in my opinion) grapple I could for my tractor. It's called choice. You have to decide if the time is worth the investment. To me, it was. It was about a 45 minute drive to get there, about 1/2 hour to get it loaded on my trailer, and 45 minutes back. Since then, I have used it a lot and have had no issue with it. Again, to me, it was part of the investment. Now I will have it for probably as long as I am around. I have posted some pictures of me using it, and I couldn't be happier with it. That little bit of time and gas to get it is totally out of my head. Now I just think of how much I love this grapple and all the work it has done and how much easier it has made it. It is all in your perspective.

OK after I stopped laughing "It was about a 45 minute drive to get there".... BWhahahhahahahha tell me again about FREE SHIPPING, Bwhahahahaha oh I seeeeeeeeeee it's FREE SHIPPING if you come out and pick it up , Bwhahahahahahah. Thank you I needed that belly augh today.

Even FUNNIER..." Again, to me, it was part of the investment." So wasting MONEY by buying from EA who charges more than others is your idea of Again, " it was part of the investment."

I hope you're a farmer and not an investment adviser because your customers would all be broke if that's what you consider an investment - WASTING hard earned money when you can but it cheaper Elsewhere.

First of all, I never mentioned anything to do with quality of their product quality - although others have left low rating on EA site and those negative comments have "conveniently" been removed to only leave good reviews. Just like here my FACTS about the free shipping being less than truthful have been removed to only show EA rebuttal making him "look good." He's got the best of all world. He can advertise less than truthful services on his web site and he can remove negative comments on his web site, and you my friend apparently thing being less truthful and not showing all the facts about unhappy customers is perfectly OK just as long as your piece of equipment works perfectly the ***** with everyone else and BUYER BEWARE, is that about right there Skippy?

Once EA stops trying to defend a deceiving front page - I will move on. And once my post don't get selectively removed for speaking the truth ( THAT SEVERAL PEOPLE HERE AGREE WITH) I’m PM.

Lastly if you're free to post your comments then so am I. My original post was answered with even more ludicrous responses that I am obligate to answer.

Here's some advice for you - DON'T READ them. see problem solved.

It's my duty as a concerned citizen to warn other of this deceptive practice of sucking in buyers by saying FREE SHIPPING, and then not actually giving FREE SHIPPING outside of the sweet spot.

I don't know what universe you I've in but in my world FREE is FREE, not HALF FREE, a little free, some free, almost free, maybe free, only here free.
Remember I'm not the one that had FREE SHIPPING WITHIN CONTINENTAL UNITED STATED, it's your employer that does.

I bet even you're smart enough to see the difference. Amazon DOES NOT SAY FREE SHIPPING WITHIN CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES, then not actually give you FREE SHIPPING WITHIN CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES.

So ya I keep coming back here because people like you are too [insert description here] to understand actual facts.

So go ahead keep defending EA with their in my opinion less than honest policy when the say QUITE CLEARLY FREE SHIPPING WITHIN CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES, and then QUITE CLEARLY, don't give you FREE SHIPPING WITHIN CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES.

But seriously keep bringing up Amazon, or Sears, or Walmart, or anyone else on the planet to justify your non existant point.

I didn’t bring up Amazon, perhaps you might actually read the posts?

If you could read, you will note that I gave my experience only.

You and your buddy just continue to spew same ....... over and over and over.

Well Travis, I will be placing an order in a few days. And I would like to offer EA free shipping on that order all the way to East Texas! I will drive to whatever location you would like to pick up my order and I hope that will mean more profits for you and your company! Thanks for your support to this site as well as Ted and the entire EA team, for providing quality products at a fair price! See you soon!

+1. Interesting thread. I have bought several items from EA. I am more than satisfied with their products and service. And, about shipping, I find their shipping policy clear and easy to understand. Travis has been very helpful when I have called him to discuss shipping. He always makes clear what the options are and has several times suggested ways I could save some shipping cost (by combining orders for shipping, for example, depending on the order).

EA seems to make some good products. From what i read online and from my personal experience with them. Ya the “free” deal can be debated with ease. Just got to read the fine print.........

However I agree with this posted earlier.

Anywho, EA would do themselves a favor by not getting into pissing matches on the internet. It comes across as just as unprofessional as the instigator.

Whoa, hang on there. There are lots of people watching this. Name calling from an advertiser is pretty smug. You need to back out.

X2. I think y'all make a good product but that comment will make me think about my next purchase.
