29" long 8.5" wide at the widest part...6" thick
the top piece is 29" long 3" wide and 4" thick...Thinking little over 500 pound?

Using a bathroom scale is out for weighing it I guess! Looks good . Any idea what it was?

I think there is a way to weigh it with the bathroom scale. It is something like this: You use a long board and set one end on the scale. Use a easy proportion length of board and set ballast there and other end is at same height as bathroom scale. Then if the scale reads 50# and the ballast is 4/5 the length of the board away from the scale, ballast weighs 400#. Google it for better/accurate instructions. This is from memory reading about someone doing this. Jon
