Stole a Weber Grill Today

Well, not really. But I did get a new Weber Genesis II E-310 today on clearance at Wally World for $349. These are regularly $699 and I have been looking for a new Gas Grill for a few months. Only 1 disappointment really, yep, you guessed it, made in China.

Good find! Last year, in late August as I recall, our local Walmart had all of their Webers and most of their other grills marked 50% off. Bought two; one for $35 and one for $75. The smaller one is a stand-up version of the portable, sold only by Walmart. Probably end up as a door prize at our car show; the other will go into service soon. Oh, yeah. Their Weber Smoky Mountain Smokers were half price also.

It's been taken under advisement. The only empty Walmart here was taken over by Hobby Lobby.

I know of one in NC that was taken over by Rural King and two in SC -- one was taken over by Big Lots and the other by a mattress outlet. The plot thickens.

I've had a Weber since 2006. It has never failed to light/burn and no rust! Suggest investing in a good heavy duty cover. :thumbsup:

I think Weber is "customizing" its grills for various vendors but a Genesis should be a Genesis with the same replacement parts that make me keep buying Weber. Great find!

The Ravenna line, specifically. I did have one that UV rotted after about a year and they quickly and graciously replaced it.

I bought last year's Genesis grill a few months ago (didn't like the G II). Had a discount for accessories so I bought a cover (ouch even with the discount) but SWMBO insisted on a cover. Being black in color, I have to remove it several minutes before I dare open the grill...those handles are HOT! Looking for a reflective color now.
