Started building a new "tractor house" as an addition to our shed. Area for tractor will be 12x20, area of 6x20 for work bench / tools. Above the 6x20 will be a storage area also 6x20x78" high. Got all the posts and beams in place, perimeter footer, and framing for 8x8 garage door. Have to go back on duty tommorow for 3 days, (so I can take a break... Forgot how much work it is to frame.... Maybe I'm just getting too old) I won't get a chance to get back on it until Sunday. The tarp was a necessity to get out of the sun... Sure was strong at 7200 ft elevation and 97 degrees for the past 3 days! image.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpeg

can't tell for sure, but looks like a couple, white one and yellow/orange one?

Yea there's a white 72 that was started restore, the yellow/ black one is a 69, full ground up restoration. Only have 50 miles on the 1776cc motor in the yellow one. Looking to sell both for a sweet deal including 2 motors for the white one and all brand new peripheral items. If anybody knows someone looking....

How much concrete did you have to mix and pour?

For the footers and stem wall was 85--- 80# bags. Done over 2 days. Lot of work. The slab will be 3.5 yards, but I'm gonna do redi-mix.

The temporary tarp certainly was a helpful idea for protection from the blazing sun.
If you need to do something like that again, it might be worthwhile to search for a silver tarp, rather than blue.
The silver color will reflect heat, while the blue absorbs it.
