Stopped in for some advice and a few parts yesterday. As always, the guy at the counter was extremely helpful. I asked him if he knew the torque specs for some bolts that I needed to remove and he printed out the page from the service manual for me. I mentioned that I wished I had the service manual in PDF and he asked if I had a thumb drive with me. I did and he down loaded a copy to it for me!

All this and I have never bought more than parts from them! I think that may change in the future. They have created a lifetime customer in me!

Don't it feel good to give credit where credit is due? Lots of customers tell good things about Messicks. I used their online parts break down yesterday to get Kubota part numbers for Kubota filters which I have several of and need to know which Kubota they fit. Same filter sometimes fits different Kubota machines. Good info to know and have accessable.

I am 76 years old, live 500+ miles from Messick's, and will likely never buy another new tractor from anyone.
That said: I have 3 old Fords, and when I call for a few very simple parts, they treat me like I am their best customer.
Messick's is FIRST CLASS, all the way!

I bought my BX23S from Messicks. I worked directly with Neil when I was working out the deal, and he was the most helpful salesperson I have ever dealt with. Answered all my questions and gave me advice as to what I may want and probably don't need. Didn't try to get the most money from me. Just tried to get me a tractor that would do everything I wanted it to do. Went to their Halifax location a few times for parts and questions and the guys behind the counter were always helpful and friendly. I honestly don't have any negative things to say about them.

I'm also a fan of theirs. I buy all my Landpride parts from their online store. In fact, seeing this thread reminded me that I need to get some new blades for my rotary cutter. I'm going to do that right now before I forget again!!!!

Can't beat their prices and quick shipping. Normally I get deliveries from them in 1-2 days from PA to VA, standard ground shipping. Beats driving 50+ miles to my dealer.

From everything i read and hear about them, i will consider them if i ever need parts.
Its very hard to find a GOOD dealer these days, tractors or not.

I got a spare thumb drive but I am a long way from a Messicks dealer, but what stuff I have ordered from them came in fast and I will be ordering again also.

I agree, they are top notch. Couple years ago, when I was deep into some repairs (as in, every part of the trans out of the trans case deep), one of their guys spent hours of his time on the phone with me, cheerfully answering or returning my calls and questions, finding the right parts, and getting them to me fast... great place to deal with.

I wish this forum had a "Like" or a "Thanks" button you could hit when you just want to acknowledge someone's post, but don't really have anything to add.

I agree too... should be at least a LIKE & DISLIKE button.
Maybe a note to the administrators might be in order...???

A couple of their locations aren't too far from me, 45min or so. I ordered some parts from them. I called to see if they were in, the guy who answered said, i live near you, I'll bring them down. Saved me a trip.

I'm in California and Niel asked if I was OK with freight being so far away.... thanked him and explained it is more important getting the right part from someone knowledgeable.

Were I live there are close to 10 million people in the region yet many counties don't have single Kubota Dealer.

It has been discussed and they don't want to do it because they often turn into a contest to see who can get the most likes.

I've spent alot of money with them buying online parts for Kubota, Woods and Landpride equipment. One of the things they do for me in the parts department is when I order a part that they dont have in stock they are able to drop ship the part. This saves the time of the part having to go to them then having to be turned around and shipped to me in Florida.

If you have not done this with them just ask, it's worked for me.

Great Customer focused business!

Thanks for all the encouraging words guys. I've copied and emailed several of your comments to our staff.

Thats what you get when you take care of the customer. The customer is your bread & butter.
Its really to bad that some dealers dont ever see it that way. You folks obviously do. The feedback proves it.
