Yikes, 6 weeks to wait for a new hyd rod?

Would it have been worth it to pay to have a rod made instead of 6 weeks of downtime?

Only took be a day or two after I figured out the part number. The HQ is in NC so doesn't take any time to get something sent to VA. I could drive there in 2.5hrs practically.

My is not a spin off. I can see the ring, going to take to friends shop today between the 2 of uswe should be able to get it.

They covered under warranty. I found the reason for the delay in another thread. LS changed something in their supply system about the time My dealer ordered the part.
I was not completely down. I bought some plugs and capped off the broken cylinder, so I still had some function. With the bad cylinder connected 5he bucket will not curl, if you disconnect and cap/plugs the 2 lines it will work just at 1/2 capacity.

DO NOT do what I did and chain the bucket up. I ended up damaging all 4 of the steel lines. However I did learn a couple of things: that cover behind the bucket is attached to the line stays, if gets bent it could damage the lines. Most important those lines are an off size but they have 3/8 JIC fittings so 3/8 steel hydraulic tube will work.
