Good Evening!!!!

Thought I would start an evening thread inspired by the very popular "Good Morning!!!!" thread. Some of us are not early risers but late night owls. Maybe we can post our end of day pics, of sunsets, dinners, special events, even night shots (challenging). I will start with our sunset tonight. I travel a lot but when I'm home, I look forward to spending a little quiet time on our deck and watching the ever changing weather and reflect on the day... view is of the Hood Canal and Olympic mountains.

Well this isn't of this evening but I decided to wait and post it a little earlier today in hopes that I might catch you east coasters before you nose over for the day. Bought a new umbrella at HD and it sure makes our deck more inviting in the evening.

It 5pm, so now evening.. since I can't mow in pasture for at least a few more weeks, and the amazon order won't be here until next week, I have time to enjoy the evenings a few more nights before business travel.

Okay another beautiful evening. Getting ready for last day of Spot Prawn season. Heading straight out off our dock in the AM.

How did your shrimping go? Steamed shrimp tonight under that umbrella with that view would be a winner.

Last day of shrimping was grand. Finished at the 1pm 'pots out of the water' deadline. Didn't limit but did very well. Shortly after, we got the little shipboard bbq ready and were drifting and... we had a stealthy visitor go by...

Yes sir! I'm blessed to catch a glimpse of the sea trials before these incredibles go out on missions. The Hood Canal is protected water that is very deep and strategic for North West waters. And these same pristine waters that allow us a bounty of fish, clams, oysters, crab and oh yeah shrimp. But not just little shrimp... but sweet spot prawns!

Looks like you have a lot of current going through those tubes, they are glowing red. Talk about an electric fence!
