Have a new HF favorite: The 23 gauge pin nailer. Wife has a craft business, bangs in a lot of 5/8" brads for reinforcing glued wood pieces. The wood is sometimes delicate and an 18 gauge brad nailer makes too much of an indent. The 23 gauge pin nailer is well built. It self-adusts to nail length (1/2" to 1"). The nails are cheap (6,000 for less than $6). It works reliably and effortlessly. The nail is barely perceptible in the wood. $20 after coupon for the nailer. Absolute bargain for a tool that works as well as this.

I have found that putting my food on a plate first helps with that a lot.
