40 here and looking at a high of 58 with a 30% chance of showers. Wind ESE 19 mph. 30% chance of showers.

The roof ridge cap is re-caulked.
I gotta haul that and the scrap tin from the roof to the dump. The return trip will find me at the hardware store getting new Roxal insulation to replace the wet stuff in the attic. I am going with 6 bags @ $50./bag. I don't need that much, but I am also adding insulation to the attic. There is already 4" of blown in there and I am adding R-24 to that. Over the living room and my bedroom and 1/2 of the bathroom is done. So we will carry on with that and should get the middle bedroom and part of the north bedroom done. Then all that will be left is the kitchen and in front of the front door.

I changed direction re the new Jeep garage. The existing one will stay. The D-I-L wants a green house and we will use the Shelter Logic frame work and the floor for that. I need 6 loads of pitrun gravel anyway and will place that near the trees and the new S-L garage can go there. That will give the garage some protection from (a) the afternoon sun and (b) the wind. The lumber and 4x4's that came I will put in the greenhouse along with some more.
I will move the snowblower out of the way and the tri-axles can back right up to where I want it dumped.

DABSGT; I have a home for that BB in my Jeep.

You guys in the torrential downpours, try to stay dry.

Have a good day all.

48°F and clear skies this morning, going up to 81° today.

Got home from work last night to find that my dear bride had already assembled the bedroom reading chair and her office desk. No surprise. She's a go-getter. After dinner, we assembled the three shelving units for her sewing room. She was quite pleased with her newfound storage system.

Congrats on the new boat, DABSGT.

Rainy and wet here all week. The good thing is the hay is growing like a weed. :D Still a little cold though, about 45 this morning going to low 50's. Supposed to be like that until Saturday then start to clear up with more rain Monday.
Sure glad I got the lawn mowed Saturday.

Thanks top pop, yes the jet is a 454. I know why BOAT stands for break out another thousand, but doesn't help when idiots steel the parts. I had the boat in storage over the winter waiting for the motor to be built after the motor was finished went back to storage garage to pick up remaining parts to only find that someone went in and took the exhaust manifolds! Hope the scrap yard took good care of them. Tool 2 months and a couple hundred to locate replacements.

Good morning 50 deg and raining, followed by rain tomorrow and possibly Thursday. I guess instead of playing with the boat yesterday I should have played on the tractor cutting the grass. Guess I know my weekend plans, cut the lawn.

Thomas, wish we had grouse here so I could hear the drumming...I've heard it once in our mountains. Glad you get to hear them. Are your turkeys gobbling?

When the Tom's get to gobbling near the house both kittens high tail it parts unknown it the house for hours hiding.
