Comparison Another Kubota vs. Deere Quandary

/ Another Kubota vs. Deere Quandary #71
When I looked at tractors years ago I had to choose between the Kubota l3400 and the JD 3032e. Here is what swayed me to the Kubota:
I liked the metal hood and fenders better. Much more sturdy. Plastic belongs on kids toys, not my tractor.

The Kubota could have a backhoe attached. The Deere rear housing is aluminum, no back hoe availability.

The Kubota has 3 hydro speeds, Deere two.

The Kubota comes with a draw bar, Deere did not.

Kubota has real gauges, Deere did not.

Kubota had cruise control std, Deere did not. Was a $1000 option iicr.

Kubota loader was easily removable, Deere was not.

Kubota was the same price or slighty cheaper. It has served me well.

Well put.

I Think the turkey thermometer fuel gage is very practical for refueling, as long as the instrument panel has a fuel gage also.

It doesn't, just the hood gauge, I don't understand how that could lower the price that much because they would have to specially make the hood with two holes ext.

No worries. Just making the point that Kubota's larger RTV uses a drive system like no others. It's basically an HST tractor drive system but instead of a treadle you have to shift from forward to reverse using a lever. Very aggravating. RTV owners would be in heaven if Kubota offered a modification to a treadle system. :)

Not true, I love mine. No need to change at all.

I watched the comparison video and did anyone else notice that the turning radius circles compared the bucket edge and not the tire tracks in the dirt. Give the Bota and dinky bucket like the deere and they would be the same.

Very smart observation. Naturally product videos are biased toward the manufacturer producing them, just like a lot of tractor owners are biased toward what brand that they own. Which is pretty evident in this thread.
