Oh I forgot to mention this morning. After I posted I went out side and there was a dead pig in the yard. That is the second one in a week for Whipper. She is destroying the wildlife. Her new name is Pigkiller. Anyone in Texas want a dog that kills all the snakes and wild pigs on your property? At least she has some redeeming tendencies, She leave cats and cows alone.

Good evening all. 54F this morning, cloudy and breezy. Breaks in the overcast today, made it to 74F, rain/thunderstorms forecast for about 3 in the morning. Put cars back in garage, clean up duty this morning, bible study this afternoon, and trying to find out about warranty extensions for my old Vue that the granddaughter now has.

Dear wife took it for a a coupla rides though this evening and pronounced it safe.
Gotta go get the rubberized mulch stuff to finish filling it now. Man! That stuff is expensive! Going with 6" depth on top of good ol Oklahoma red dirt top soil.
Ordered a swing last night to mount next to it but looks like it'll be a couple of days late so she can help me install it.
First load of dirt I used the FEL but that was a screwup with half dumping in and half dumping out. I had to touch a shovel to rectify that. Next load I used the ol 3 pt scoop. Good nuff.
Dear wife said I thought you were told not to spoil her. But I don't really remember that. You all know how our memory gets.

I duno, that second section still looks like it has a quick drop. Is your wife a stunt person and bounce easily?

Looking at the pics on-line I'd say the second section needs to be turned uphill about 3 bolts then the third one downhill about 6 bolts.

Trying to decide today between painting, bush hogging, or working on the third function kit that arrived yesterday afternoon. May do a bit of all three.

Good morning! Raining and lots of lighting outside. Whipper was knocking at the door to escape the lighting and got me up early. Too early, now I know how Roy feels.
At least Whipper does keep the rabbits out of the garden and only gives us rabbit gifts about 3 times a year.

58 out this AM. After a nice sit down dinner outing with the wife at a favorite place yesterday, today is an ice cream run. Yippie!

Plus, I have to drop off the tax papers, sheesh, and start mowing the grass in the yard. Weeds mostly. I think weed and feed is on order this season.

55 going to 70 today. I have some planting to do today, camelias, azaleas and such, then I need to rig up a frame to let my snap peas go vertical.
Lastly, some metal cutting for my mower project.

It could be, but no, the cable slayer was a pretty large motorized sod cutting machine.
my helper/landscaper decided to get a little fancy with the thing, swung out way past where I thought he
was going, and that of course is where the cable was.
Suddenlink tech had a nifty protective cover he put over the splice.
Am going to totally reroute the cable line now back against the edge of the house
so this does not happen again. Have to finish planting those bushes today. I'm ready to get some
muddy knees.

all those new kitchens are beautiful, going to be a lot of pleased wives for sure.
Probably a good time for a new plastic cutting board too...

are the way to go. Particularly good in biker bars. :dance1:
