I wonder if this hose should go over this "bump" (see orange arrow in photo). This leak just started and dripped pretty constant, left a small pool. Only leaked when the tractor was running!!! Just a heads up.

I tried to push the hose on more but it would not move. I tighten down the clamp more and the leak stopped. I guess I got a tractor that was built on a Friday since my oil cooler hose also fell off. {mental note: tighten the rest of the hose clamps on your tractor}

If it's not leaking you have it correct.
Thanks, yes, I tighten it pretty tight, then another 1/2 turn... hope the rubber doesn't split!

Mainly, to let others know to keep an eye out for this location. I blow air to get the dirt off my engine after I mow... it's about the only "cleaning" I do. I didn't see any problem the last time I used it.

On my L3400 the hose goes to the bump as shown in your picture. Sounds like just a loose clamp.

Thanks, that's what I wanted to hear, I could not push that hose on at all. :thumbsup:
