I'm thankful you won't go skulking around my property (on foot) recording with a video camera. Why not? Is that a little too creepy? Yet you defend piloting a flying camera around my property. It's the same perversion dude.

They sure look like they're lots of fun. I've thought about getting one. If I do, I sure hope I don't suddenly develop a desire to become a peeping Tom. :shocked:

I respect your right to be concerned, I really do. I'm in the cyber security field and if you really knew (and maybe you do) what was happening out there I think a drone would be less of a concern. Just saying.
I do think people have a perception that these toys can zoom into a room or backyard from hundreds of feet up. The truth is once your over 25 feet it becomes difficult to make out any details. I encourage you to give it a try, you may will learn a lot and be informed by personal experience. Always a good thing.

Here are some pictures from the bird that demonstrate how stable the photography platform performs. We set off these fireworks and I set the shutter to remain open for 1.5 seconds. Very little blurring.
Lots of fun.
The majority of people flying have no interest in looking at people's yards or anything else personal. The media has done what is always does...reports the bad stories.

I was watching an information video concerning one of the DJI's can't remember if it was Phantom 4 Pro or the Mavic. Took some pics with 8 second exposure. Would never know it. Excellent cameras.

But then I'm still amazed at my Galaxy 6 camera.....

innrkid, do you know if there's an adapter to hold a Tablet on the Mavic controller?

Reason I ask is when I'm shooting video on my Galaxy 6 I sometimes can't tell exactly where I'm pointing. I'd like a larger screen. Thanks!!!!

Yes, the mavic has a tablet holder as an aftermarket accessory. It is well worth it. The mavic is an amazing machine and has revolutionized the drone industry. I sold my phantom 3 and lost a few hundred and I don't regret it for a minute.
