How is your winter so far.?

Pretty mild, one big snow, about 8 inches. We had about 4 inches in the last 2 days. 2013-14 winter was record cold, -15F and record snow. Bad part for us was a ice storm just before the record cold. We had below zero cold, no electric, for 7 days. Really appreciated the Generac whole house generator! Didn't appreciate the 2 gallons of propane burned per hour.

Go to Toronto in the winter after that same inch of snow and watch the carnage. :laughing:

Nope. Toronto actually does very well in the snow, and has lots and LOTS of snow equipment.

Wowsers. Just as well you are prepared.
We had a snow come through the south island a few years ago that took out electricity through most of the middle, was hardly even mentioned in the forecast.. so now any cold front on the horizon they predict large amounts of snow to low levels and you're lucky to get your lawn white overnight. Think our record cold one was 95 or 96. 400'asl it didn't thaw for about 16 days really. That is pretty mild for the latitude by comparison, more that 46°S where we are.
Now I'm only a mile from the sea and 60' asl at home.

Below normal snow and cold here. The ground was so soft the last storm that my yard ended up with ruts all over.

it is the people I am talking about. Other than the year Mayor Mel called in the army.
I was plowing in York Region that winter.(A2)
I worked sand camps in Toronto for 5 years. 2 @ camp 3, 2 @ camp 1 and 1 @ camp 2. I went up to York Region after that.

I'm a very mechanical person. Every piece of equipment has a personality to me. I enjoy using all three of my tractors. They each have their own quirks and personality. Overall I like my Ford the best. I see similarities in your IH. I looked for one before buying my Ford. Think I would have been happy with either color.
