:D

Pulled some cedars with the Longarm tree puller, laid them on the ground next to each other. Pushed them together and picked up all that the grapple could get a bite of.

I have a 3203 that I installed an Artillian electric diverter valve to operate a grapple. I cannot get it to function, how did you get hydraulics to your grapple and did you have any issues. My front end loader functions as it should just cant get the grapple lid to open and close.

Double check your wiring. Do you have a test light?

I'd like to ask those of you, who work with a grapple attached to a conventional FEL bucket: if you take a log, which is longer than the width of a bucket, and press it with a grapple to the sides of a bucket, isn't it danger, that the log will bend those sides?

No. The sides of buckets are much stronger than you might think. And the metal would be mostly under compression anyway.. Ain't going to happen.

Totally agree.

Thanks for answers.
But the steel strips at the edge of the bucket sides should be welded anyway? I'm planning to fabricate a grapple for myself. I have two cylinders of 30 mm of the rod diameter - hope it'll be enough.

One cylinder is all you need! Good luck.
