Harbor Freight Tools that don't suck

Ok so I found a website that claims the coupons they have are legit. And that I can get a bunch of cheap stuff for free with no additional purchase required? True statement?
...

Lately it seems that the freebies must be accompanied by a purchase, tho I have seen one or two lately that required no purchase.

I buy the 59 cent paint brushes (less 20%....lol) I use 'em and toss 'em. Not worth cleaning and they work OK.

Yeah but the coupons specifically say no purchase required. One for a flashlight one for batteries and one for a multi meter.

Does anyone own one of the 1/2" lightweight composite impact wrenches? I think they are on sale for $85 or so. Are they that much lighter than the regular Earthquake 1/2" wrench?

1/2 in. Heavy Duty Composite Air Impact Wrench

Agreed, considering cost of some solvents those cheepo brushes also get tossed here as well.

But I also have some that will never be tossed, mainly 'real bristle' types.
I also have a few very expensive artist camel hair brushes that I use for touch ups that simply match a spray job.
(at one time I distributed artist supplies hence my source, (samples))

When I find a source of real bristle brushes I usually buy them out! (most today are plastic (nylon) bristles, Bah!

Yes, they are not great brushes, but as far as a cheap purchase to enable a freebie, a good bargain. I find them acceptable for touch up work around the house. And with a septic system I don't like to clean brushes.

Not sure if this magnetic tool holder has been mentioned. http://www.hfqpdb.com/coupons/28_FREE_18__MAGNETIC_TOOL_HOLDER_1485540427.9788.jpg I have half a dozen of them and use them all over the place. I even have one in my kitchen as a wall mounted knife rack. They are great for keeping wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers etc etc within easy reach and aren't as fussy to use as dedicated slots.
I love these things and grab one every time I have a freebee coupon. The magnets are so strong that I picked up two at a time and they snapped into alignment taking a chunk of skin and flesh out of my thumb.

I keep about 4 of them scattered around the shops with a 5' or so length of cord tied to one end. They are great for getting that screw or nail I dropped which bounced or rolled under something.

I'm not close enough to stop there often to get the free stuff. Only got a couple free things so far.

This is a great idea. You could zip tie one to a rake and use it to comb an area with loose nails, like after a roofing job.

Good idea!

I have a spare one around here somewhere. I think I will try attaching it to the top of my shop push broom with a couple of wood screws so I can flip the broom over to use the magnet for hunting lost parts.

Yea, especially the free items. What's a guy to do with 50 flashlights?

I took 35 of them with me, to give away in Cuba.

I picked up a 20 ton air bottle jack, guess I'll see how well it works soon.
