My L5740 had a light and I still ran with the brake on too much. Same thing with the L6060 that replaced it although the 6060 light is brighter. My M135GX has a light and audible alarm. No mistaking the screech even with my impaired hearing.

I have one, you'd be surprised how useless it is. It's a red light about 3/4" in diameter and I don't notice it. I've never driven more than a few feet with the brakes on because I can instantly feel/hear it. The buzzer in my truck is WAY more effective than the light.

Audible alarms beat a light anyday!!!
