I have had some horrible homemade pumpkin, only few pumpkin pies I enjoy, I either love it or hate it.

I'm very new to tractors but I was told to shop for a dealer and not a tractor. So whatever delears you have near you and who have been around for a while are the ones I'd be looking at as far as brand goes.

I see my tractor like a security system in a house, the dealer is like a rifle in the closet, I hope I never use it but I need one with a high enough quality it's reliable and will go off but only need to use it if my security system fails.

The quality and reliability of the tractor is VERY important, the key is being able to find parts but everything mechanical will fail eventually. if it's covered, its then in the dealers hands, best to have a quality dealer that will stand by the product and fix it properly on your behalf.

Could not disagree more. If you are new to tractors, a truly good dealer is extremely valuable. The more experience you have, the less important the dealer is. I also think there are many people out there who have never experienced a truly good dealer and therefore don't know what they're missing.

Sorry, I disagree. I've bought my Kubota's from three different dealers. Each has their sweet spot of knowledge. Just like us, we all know a lot about one or two things, and not much about everything else to be proficient. My advice, acquire knowledge and educate yourself. Then, buy the tractor that fits you and your projects.
