Which is the original?

When those were made there were not the options. Later in life the MM taken over by Oliver and then White were some of the first component tractors as I will call them. AC was still into AC before marketing some other makes coming into the 80's. Case I can really get into but there again, in those days the manufacturers were a proud bunch and they put their names on it.

That case is a 1950 and it's in my barn, it's a fun tractor to drive. But listen to the specs, 28hp, 3200lbs 38in rears lol they really put a lot more into those old tractors. A new version would be 4x4, about 1800lbs with a front end loader and 20in tires

I wonder if you did a pie chart of all the work done with every "Brand" of tractor who would be the brand to have done the most work. Impossible to calculate but would be interesting to see. From residential to industrial brand and single model, I know the 8n would be up on that list, top 100 anyway

If you could devise a method to measure that work, such as HP exerted, tonnage moved, fields tilled, whatever,,,,,, the 8N would be very low on that list.

Not picking on the little 8N, I've got hundreds of hours of operation on one. I can do more work tomorrow on my Kubota than an 8N would do in two weeks.....

I'd say without a doubt John Deere, but that's a pretty useless pie chart.
