I thought it was one of our computers but have had issues the last few days in typing a message here but my work computer is also having some issues with the site. I scanned the first computer for virus and malware but turned up nothing. It I type normal speed or try to edit a word it will not work. Have to type very slowly. Using Chrome on the one that is having most problems and on this computer where have few issues using IE.

I have no problems with posting worded messages. For the last four days I've been unable to upload pics. The pics upload, normally, to emails. I get the message "you do not have the authority to conduct this operation" or something to that effect.

I use Mac with Safari.

No problem at all on this end with TBN.
However, I do have the same slowness problem on other sites getting pages to load and typing. I use Firefox and have no problem loading my homepage but certain sites are very slow to load. Almost seems like dial up instead of cable. No malware or virus can be found but other protective programs say I have some registry errors and the free repair programs can't fix the problem.

If I reply with a quote, I'm unable to enter any spaces until I hit a return. This has been going on for a couple days now.

I'd suggest updating your browser and Java and see if that helps.

Not sure what you are using but I'm using a Mac with Safari and no issues here.

Having problems on two windows 10 pro unit, one iPad and one iPhone. Freezing screens, jumpy screens, jumping from one post to another. Took me over 5 minutes to type this. I am getting a blue circle and then everything freezes. Type a response and when you try to post it, the screen freezes and a short time later the post will disappear, poof and it is gone.

I figured one of the moderators had decided time to pick on Gator.

This is what I am getting today. Looks like the problem is taking over.

This page is having a problem loading

We tried to load this page for you a few times, but there is still a problem with this site. We know you have better things to do than to watch this page reload over and over again so try coming back to this page later.

Try this

Go to my homepage

Open a new tab

Nothing wrong with the Web Site though.

You shouldn't need Java for anything unless you're writing software code. That's one huge security hole. And it certainly isn't needed for this site or any other site. If you hit a site that says it needs Java, you better RUN! JavaScript is NOT the same as Java. Scripts should be handled by the browser in native mode--No other software required.

I experienced slow typing in the past on another forum. I think it's caused by a site monitor (big brother). It eventually stopped on it's own. About the only irritant I get with this site is the constant notice to turn on Flash so Google can track my usage for analytics. I opted out but they still collect the data. I only allow Flash for a handful of sites. This ain't one of them.

I tried to reply last night and totally failed to. Have been on a couple of other forums before hitting this one tonight and they worked fine and this one is accepting my typing much better. No idea why or what the issue was.

As I mentioned, it's probably a keystroke monitor in vBulletin (The software for this forum). If you're running IE-11 browser and know a little HTML, you can click on Tools > F12 Developer Tools and see the HTML code for the page being displayed. This is how I learned of the Google Analytics code using Flash Player. Google claims that if you "opt-out", the data is collected but not used. Yeah, right.

Below is a snip of the message I get for every page I visit on this and some other sites. I get this notice even when there's no video on the page. I've run like this since the early XP days when it seemed every HTML coder learned about Flash Player. I got sick of all the blinking ads all over pages I visited so I turned Flash off for all but a few sites.
