messer 80t-ac weld rods

Anyone know where you can purchase Messer 80t-ac weld 1/8" rods online? They work great on rusty farm equipment.

Why don't you use 6061?

Never tried 6061. I've had real good luck with the 80t-ac plus on my old ac-dc tombstone. I use to use 6011 and 6013 but It has spoiled me. Good strength and my welds actually look good. I'm not the best welder.

Praxair used to sell MG Electrodes. 80T AC included. Try MG 500 for 6013 type applications. Both great rods.

If you have a Menards or another store that carries "US Forge" nearby you can get some job packs to get you by until something else shows up. US Forge is made by Messer.

Found some locally. Still not been able to find any for sale online. Thanks for the input

I am a little late here but I buy them at Air Gas. They run great on a AC tombstone for sure.
