When I was sixteen I used to race boat in 175 cc class. The engine developed about 40 HP (320 HP/liter). Time between overhaul about 8 hours.

so now would be a good time to travel to England?

England is on sale right now, at least as far as the exchange rate goes. I think all that will settle down once the Brexit panic is over, so if you've ever wanted to go now would be a very good time. I spent five weeks there in '85, mostly staying at pubs and B'n'Bs out in the countryside, riding a Norton motorcycle I'd flown over with. Coal to Newcastle that was! Wonderful people, great beer, but the food? Not so much unless it was Indian or fish'n'chips. Be fun to go back and watch the racing on the Isle of Mann again...

With the exchange rate as it is, there has hardly been a better time to come and visit Britain, although not much countryside to see today as mist is covering most of it.
Is "Selling England by the pound" in with those old albums you got the other day RNG ?

The Isle of Man is a really quiet place, except during race and practice week, then it must be safer to run with the bulls at Pamplona than be a biker there while the TT races are on.

While water levels are low, I got of few more stones in the places where the pond is eroding the bankside. Only time will tell if this is effective or not.

Trist me I am not that good. If I had been off 18" in any direction it would not have gone through because the conduit fit the hole. Lot of prayer went into that hole. Ed

Good morning all 63 this morning going to 67 with an 80% chance of showers. Less than 1/4" possible. Wife found out that Huss and Dalton guitar factory of Staunton, 7 people work there, has a tour on Fridays at one so I hope to go to it today. Need to go within a couple miles to get the wire and boxes for the shop so it is a good time. Hope to rent a mini ex to dig the ditch for the wire next week. Have a foot between the patio and a sidewalk so I have to go down, under the sidewalk and then across the yard. Should be fun.

Don, I am sorry for your loss and I can't even guess what it is like to do that job. Prayers sent.
