I may have missed it but did the part make it to your dealer yet?

Last I read, it was in Texas and should be a couple days out.

,,,,, my tractor started not running right after 30 hrs. I wouldn't know what to do, I'd call my dealer and hope they would come out and fix it under warranty with out charging me $$$$$$$ for seat time......

It is a VERY common business model for dealers to only offer warranty repairs at the dealers shop.
We may not like it,,, tractors can be tough to move.
I kinda have to defend the dealers position on this.

Have it fixed at the dealer,,, for free,,, (you move the tractor)

or

pay for transport of the technician to the tractor.

When did you ever see a service truck equipped with a pressure washer?

I had to move a new JD 4020 60 miles for warranty repair with an old cab-over Ford truck.
That was in 1970,, so this is not a new concept.
The guy I was working for just thought it was part of tractor ownership.

I thought everyone said Mahindra was the best selling tractor in the world? The third world maybe.

Sales quantity does not equal quality. I don't believe that Mahindra has ever claimed to be the leader in quality; this is NOT a comment on their quality, just on their marketing/claims. Folks in North America tend to be highly ignorant of what exists out in the rest of the world.

Stuff goes wrong for EVERY manufacturer. What is done to make things right in the eyes of the customer is what then matters: and sometimes what the customer expects is unreasonable (not the case with the OP here). It's possible that Mahindra can still pull a rabbit out of the hat for the OP. No matter, as downsizingnow48 says, I just hope it turns out OK for everyone.

Even in third world sales, they still lag Behind others.

Mahindra - the Walmart quality tractor.

Feel free to provide published data supporting your statement.
That sounds like opinion more than fact to me, and I am hardly a Mahindra fan.

+1
Its a dealers call because most tractor warranty's do not cover transportation
