power steering on T554

Just as I started to turn off the my T554 after some brush cutting, I turned the steering wheel and the tractor made a whining noise like when your car is low on power steering fluid. Went ahead and stopped the tractor, and when got back on today it still made the noise and the wheel was very hard to turn. Put in gear and moved a few feet and steering seem to get much easier but still had the whining. Checked the fluid in the front axle, and had fluid, but the dip stick is not marked so don't know what level it is suppose to show. What do I need to check. Tractor has about 25 hours...

Check your owners manual. If you don't have one they should be available for download on tym website.

Manual is useless on this subject...

Yeah even the factory workshop manual sucks on issues like these. Check hose #39 in the attached picture. Odds are the clamps that hold it on are loose.
