Ford 4610 Lift arms leak down

As the title states the lift or pick up arms will leak down and you aren't able to set at a constant height. Any thoughts?

While running, won't stay in one position.

I'm not much help with hydraulics, there are more knowledgeable members I'm hoping might chime in.

Does the 3pt jump as in it's trying to maintain a certain height, this would be a leak in the lift cylinder.
Or, you can't set the position of the implement and when you try, it falls all the way down or raises all the up. If this is the case, then you are using the draft lever, the one on the inside of the quadrant OR you have a problem with your linkage. You could also check to see it the top link draft yoke has slop in it. That's the one with the big spring on the top of the axle housing.

I'm going to update this....the draft lever is the only one that works. The other one doesn't work.

Sounds like the cylinder is scored and perhaps you also have a control valve issue. Any water in the oil?
If not you need to remove the top cover to investigate, the cylinder is bolted to the top cover and can be replaced. There are later styles depending on the one you already have.
