2014 3560 Kubota Grande L
Finally bought my new to me 3130 Kubota and got it delivered yesterday. Of course there were no manuals with the tractor. Is there a site I can download the service manual? I need to change the engine oil but don't know for sure how much oil and what kind to use. What oil and oil filter can I use or do I need to stay with Kubota filters and oil? Any other info is appreciated.

Thanks Ricky

Congratulations on the Kubota.
There are several sites online that offer manuals. Some charge a fee and some do not.
Might look for a Workshop Service Manual while your at it.

Any good grade of diesel oil in a 10W40 weight should work for you since you are in the deep south. I use Shell ROTELLA T6 10W40 (full synthetic) in all my stuff, lawnmower, truck, car, tractor, RTV, boat motor and motorcycle because it is certified for diesel and gasoline service. I really don't put that many hours or miles on them between changes but I think the full synthetic does a bit better job of lubrication at startup and at operation temps than regular crude refined oil.

Thanks for the info. Does anyone use any filter other than Kubota?

Nice tractor!
An operators manual is less than $20 at the dealer or online and it's must have!
The hydraulic filters are most likely only available from Kubota.

Your choice of the fuel, air, and oil filters is up to you.

Gary must not had his coffee when he posted .
He meant to say 15W40 in your climate is perfectly acceptable.
Shell Rotella T6 5W40 synthetic would be a premium choice!
Kubota's factory fill is 10W30 so Shell Rotella 10W30 would most closely match the original fill.

All are great choices!
Post some pictures please!

No, I only use Kubota filters. Question, how many hours are on your 10 year old tractor, and what brand of filter (oil, hyd, hst), is on it now? Philip.

Buy Kubota filters, and you won't have any second thoughts about them. Online or friendly local dealer... whichever makes more sense. A complete filter kit: two HST, engine oil, fuel and air runs about $100 for an L3400, and Wally World's Rotella T-6 is only $20/ gal., so why mess with anything else?? Definitely use Kubota Super UDT 2 for the hydraulics, though. If you just got it, and don't know for SURE what the fluid/filter history is, change everything so you don't have to think about it again.

Kubota filters, SuperUDT 2, and Rotella T6 is what I do in both my B2620 and my RTV 900.
It is just easier to make a trip to the dealer once a year for oil filters, air filters, and fuel filters. It also gives me a chance to check out the inventory!

Most everyone I know runs 15W40 in their diesel tractors. Both the Kubota's and the Deere run std. Rotella T 15W40. The other two still run CaseIH No.1 Engine oil 15W40.
