1989 JD 318 no start

Long story on this machine. Has 13xx hours on it. Has always had an issue of starter not kicking in. Used to just click but if you kept trying starter would eventually kick in. Over past years I have replaced starter, ignition switch, battery cables and even voltage rectifier. Now it simply will not do anything. Ignition lights come on but it won't even make clicking sound anymore. Battery is good.

Any ideas where to start??

How about a poor ground connection somewhere, but I ain't no mechanic. Good luck....that model/year was a good machine so I'm told.

Wiring burnt out from too much resistance from crappy electrical system and a gazillion hours. Guaranteed if you cut into the wiring sheath of the major cables at the starter, etc. there will be pink colored worn out wiring....
Replace everything.....:confused3:
