Good morning!!!!

A question to the Good Morning Club: Is anyone experiencing PVCs from morning coffee caffeine? A PVC fells like a flutter in the heart or a skip and might make you cough. I noticed one day last week that I was getting them frequently so I stopped my caffeine intake. The first day they dropped off considerably and were gone by the third day.

I will miss that morning coffee but I have switched to hot Rooibos tea and no more PVCs, and now that the dull withdraw headaches are gone it's all OK.

Don, I have curtailed caffeine for over a year. It made me and my heart feel "weird", I would describe mine similarly as you do the PVC's, and when you get a weird feeling in your heart, the anxiety makes it worse. I drink decaf, and caffeine free soda if I drink a soda. I had dropped sodas completely, but I now relent and have one every so often.

I may have a beer or two per month on average, and I can't remember the last time I've had hard liquor, but I did buy some rum and a Bacardi pina colada mixer about 3 weeks ago.

Sounds like we have the same sensivity to caffeine.

I can say that I've tied mine to caffeine, as I used to drink a large cup of coffee, 4-5 diet colas, and sometimes iced tea for supper every day.

My wifey has to make 2 separate cups of coffee on the weekends.

We bought a K-cup machine a couple of years ago so, now I can have one cup and not feel obligated to finish a pot of coffee.

Don,
Yeah, I do not drink more than two cups of coffee in the morning.

Well guys, I won a not to bad 100 gallon tank with 12 volt 20 Gal pump, hoses, nozzle, and filter for $275. I had looked at it yesterday at the auction lot and it ain't to bad.
I will use it for off road diesel for the John Deere. The price for a 50 gallon tank with nothing is $300.00 So I think I did okay on this 100 gallon all set up. As you guys know, they go for a lot more new with filter hoses and pumps. Now I just hope it all works. It did not smell bad when I looked it over yesterday and sniffed the tank to see if it was diesel fuel in it.. Worse case I have another project.

I think I have attached a picture???

Nice find. Does it have a bottom drain? If so you might pick it up, with your tractor and see if anything drains out. Then put a gallon or two of diesel and slosh it around with it lifted, then drain again.

Looks like it has lift eyes on it?

Rick,
Yes it does look at the picture in the lower right of the tank and I think it still has a few gallons of fuel in it. So I was thinking that same thing. Slosh it around with it lifted, then drain again. Before filling it. Keep the old fuel for fire starter.
Should be interesting.

Ritchie Bros, is world wide equipment auction and I have been driving by their site with drool running out of my mouth for years. About two years ago they went to public auctions. It used to be contractor only and you had to have a bank note for 10K or better to get in. I know guys that have got things there so I finally broke down and went there and took the walk around. WOW neat place and only 12 to 13 miles from me.
The $$$$$$$$$$$$$ flows like wine there. :licking:

Great! You're smart to use old fuel for burning brush, etc. Does it have a good fuel filter on it? If not, you can easily plumb in a Golden Rod filter. Your tractor will thank you.

Good luck with this excellent deal.

The filter looked very good and big, Rick, I will up-date when I get it my hands on it early next week. I like those Golden Rod filters to. I have to get the invoice from them first. There is a 10% charge for them on anything sold under $2,500 and 2.5% for things sold for more but I will still be under $300.00

Yep, think you got a deal. Keep us posted on your progress.

Think the lift eyes are rated to lift it full of fuel? FYI, diesel weighs about 7.5 lbs. / gallon.

The new tanks only have lift eyes rated for empty loads.

Maybe it can be lifted with pallet forks?

Thanks David, I just hope the pump works!

Might be worth the time to take it apart, clean and service before using?

Good evening all. weird day weather-wise today. 55F, overcast, wind calm and .8 in in rain gauge this morning, thunderstorms to the north. warmed to a blistering 57F, now cooled off to a chilly 53F with fog/drizzle most of the day, and thunderstorms ignored the forecast and stayed north. Puttered with lawnmower, still need to clean bottom but less build up than I am used to seeing. No bike ride today, glasses became opaque after .3 miles so turned around and came home and napped:). Also dog sat again today. We think he is half Jack Russel and half Beagle and has two speed, coach potato and squirrel chasing

Don never got to PVC's, but caffeine was sending me to the water closet every hour. Now only 1 or 2 cups of 50/50 mix of regular and decaf in the morning plus iced tea when we eat out.

Kev nice tank :)

Ed before the wife and I moved to Texas last June we had 3 acres and a nice house on a hill (for 30 yr). Now we live in a house 1/3 smaller and 1/3 acre lot. Still have stuff to divest ourselves of. :ashamed: :confused2:

Don, don't think I have that problem. Really like my morning coffee, but drink much much less during the day than I used to.

Pretty productive day. 10 sheets of 4x8 cement board installed, hope to start tiling tomorrow. Around 340sf of 16x16 tile, probably 2 days to set if I'm lucky.
