Spring Ahead, Fall Back

I hate the current time. It's dark by 4:30 in the winter. I'd be happy to spring ahead about 3 hours from the current time.

So set your watch ahead three hours and go about your business. LOL Heck it's OK the way it is with me. At my age I'm up at three AM half the time anyway and I'm usually gone shortly after dinner.

Actually, DST was in vented by Orthopaedic Surgeons.........so as to get an increase in the business.......i.e. all of us old folks climbing around changing wall clocks with old batteries and and flimsy hangers.... It's good for their business fixing all those broken bones and sprains.:D

Then I'd be 3 hours early everywhere.

I've always heard it was the golfers so they could get the back nine in after work.

We don't have any clock in the bedroom.

We have a little clock/radio in the bedroom. It's a little over 12 years old and I had occasion to set the alarm (can't remember why) several years ago . . . . and it didn't work. I still don't know whether it's defective or whether I failed to set it correctly. But I don't guess it matters since we don't use the alarm or the radio.

Reminds me of 20 years ago I was visiting Mom. Said, "Mom your clock isn't right". She said "Oh, it doesn't matter, doesn't work anyway". I didn't bother to ask why it was still hanging on the wall. I know now. :)

How about instead of changing clocks twice a year, just change business/work times instead?

Have winter hours and summer hours. In winter, work from 8 to 5, then in summer change it to 7 to 4.
