Another kind of 'lack of common courtesy' seen lately, is that many posters forget to provide updates to their issue.
It would be nice to read about what resolved the problem, or just give a 'thank you' to those who helped them out of a jam by providing advice or posting a source of technical info.

I go out of my way to provide final updates to close things out and have never heard a positive comment--or any comment about my doing so. Doesn't bother me and I'm going to keep updating but others may feel it's not worth the effort to wrap things up since no one seems to care? Sniff. :bawling:

Studies show that public discourse waxes and wanes with the economic cycle and degree of severity. In good times, nobody cares and in bad times you can do no right. This too shall pass and in the interim I just tune it out.

The common element here is equipment, tractors, rural living and so forth. There is no requirement for certain personality traits to participate.
