Even my plugged in tractor will balk.

30c today with a gentle breeze. I mowed around the house on the D110 and have now retreated (bravely, I might add) into the house to cool off.

No it doesn't bother me. I just remember what summer is like down there. While I am setting in the porch one summer evening sipping a glass of tea, with a nice cool mountain breeze blowing...... I'll just think of you and how hot it is down there. :shocked:

Not really, no one objects when I add clothes to stay warm, but it gets pretty tense when I start taking them off to stay cool.

Terrible timing....

I walked to the mailbox 100' down the drive and my beer froze solid before I got back.

frozen beer is a bad deal... but sure beats you freezing solid before you got back!

Wish we would get something to plow. So far this has been the worst winter since I started plowing commercially about 9-10 years ago.

Two weeks ago, we got over 3 feet, the most ever recorded here. It was about double what the forecast called for. I spent over 8 hours on the tractor. It was light and fluffy, but it was so cold, the little bit of snow left on the driveway after the FEL cleared it, froze almost immediately, which equalled tire spin, even in 4WD. I have chains, but have never needed them, and would not have needed them for the amount forecast. They did not plow our road until the afternoon of the day after it stopped snowing. So, I had to plow the road to get to the barn to feed the horses, about 100 yards. I had walked through it the day before and it was exhausting, snow up to my knees. Of course, I had just gotten to the barn driveway when the big wheel loader was coming down the road at me. Turn around and skeedaddle to the driveway at the house to get out of his way. I ran out of places to pile the snow. And we have a porch with a low slope roof and an addition with a flat roof. I had to shovel them, too. Shoveling and plowing for three days. :thumbdown:

This used to be a nice forum and still is to a large extent. Many people are kind, caring, and this is a wide spread family of tractor nuts. Lately it seems that there are grown people acting like school kids. They are rude and insulting. If you can't prove it to me then I don't think you have a problem. In other words people owe them a video and if they don't get it the other person is a fibber. It is a shame, makes me feel bad for the person with the problem and the person who thinks that way. Wonder how many people have not joined, or left TBN because of junk like that? :2cents: Ed

Long forgotten ... when I first started reading here in 2003 trying to decide what to buy, a lot of posts sounded like that but were boasting about ... Power Trac !!!

Just make sure you aren't near a county road. Also that you don't get something caught in something..
