Got a grip on it with the two center tines:

Raised the boom, but the rear came up, instead of the stump:

Had to rock it back and forth to loosen the stump, then it came up:

Here is one "from the seat" from years back. I think I was actually taking a picture of my duck blind in the background to remind me how it was built. That area floods to about 2' deep in duck season. I would not have bothered to take a picture of the shrub so that is all I can figure.
