Moving to the Farm

I lied. I found a picture of the one behind the house. This was leftover metal from the cookshed at work.

I have used some of Margie's old political signs, {one of the most costly building materials available} but paint doesn't want to stick to the plastic. If you can drape it with burlap or cheap camo cloth {like the door in the one above}, that would be a good alternative. We know the roads will be full of signs soon. But thank the Good Lord, none for Margie.

We have some burlap I might drape around it and the kids will keep adding branches and leaves. Eventually I will make a covered one that is elevated.

I've decided to make a picnic table. I'm using a YouTube video from Ask This Old House for the plans. It will be 8' long. The picture is of the top, I'm working on the legs now.

Table top looks good. I need to make a new one for my camp. You Tube was my cob coach as well. So when my rocket stoves aren't as rockety as I would like, I'm blaming those guys.
