65 this morning and headed to 92 today. Had a good visit with family yesterday. Now back to work. I hope I Finish my Maintenance in chicken coops today. Then need to mow.

Took granddaughter to one of the better local restaurants last night where she enjoyed a gourmet pizza.
Today marks 10 years since we moved here. Time flies.

Good afternoon all. 80F this morning, 102F is the forecast, currently 98F HI 104F light south breeze. Not much going on today, been to chapel, breakfast with friends, and not much more on the agenda.

I took the 3 kiddos for a country ride. We stopped in La grange after church to eat pizza. It is so hot, the cows are cramming under the shade trees. Planning to go to Weikels bakery next, while we are down here.

I have been told they did. I did see an old black and white photo at an auction, where there were 3 nice looking lassies on a swing in front of the old chicken house.....all topless.
Guessing it was from around 1950, judging by hairdos.FWIW, I only looked at the hairdos.....

As a kid with no money, I think I got $10 from my Grandparents for Christmas. Headed straight to J.C. Penneys, and for the very first album I ever bought, it was ZZ Top Tres Hombres. The year was 1973.
They are going to finally play at the Fayette County Fair (Lagrange Texas) here in a few weeks (early September). They are anticipating a crowd of 35,000 or more. Will be the 1st time to play Lagrange in Lagrange. Would love to go see them, but it will be hot, and I don't care for crowds without assigned seating. Hoping to see video of it on TV.

Gee Kyle, I graduated HS and joined the Army in 72 and suddenly I feel very old.
Well I just got home with our new Bull, so would like to introduce Harry to everyone
As you can see by the fence posts my horse likes to push on (yes they are over 3' in the ground) he is not very tall. He is only 32" at the rump and is a papered Zebu. Now we are looking for cows.
I also discovered that I like GN trailers over BP
Dave drive safe !!! After only driving for 7 hours today, I can attest to the fact that there are crazy drivers out there.
