Then I've got 150 pounds of weed and feed to put down.
Drew, if you had been in Colorado I would have thought you meant going to a Smoke and Snack Bar, but 150 pounds does sound excessive

76F dry & clear today. Nice stretch of weather ahead for the next 4 days.
Today's task is getting the bush hog ready to use. It's the only thing that has to sit outside, which I don't like but have to live with. The mower has had a hard life for the past 11 years. I don't put that many hours on it but they are hard hours. If I finish my field project before the end of the universe it would be nice to get a mower dedicated to mowing cleared areas. A flail mower might fit in the garage. The bush hog is roughly 6'-6" X 11' overall which is a lot of floor space.
The price of being able to read the news, is reading the news. I guess it also depends on what one considers to be worthy news but whilst on my way to those topics it is hard to miss the unworthy news headlines.
Dave, I am jealous, all of my implements have to sit outside, only my tractor is under cover.
I am like Larro in that I neither read the paper or watch the news. Having been closely involved with news breaking stories in my past, it always comes across as what will sell and make them money, not the truth. And it is quick to convict someone with big headlines, but retractions are little fine print in back. My nephew still has a hard time finding work and he was proven innocent of all crimes, but the headlines still pop up.
