Kubota B7800
Hello everyone, hope you are all well. I own a Kubota B7800 that has been trouble free the last 10 years. I maintain it religiously and it has 672 working hours. I started it up today, let it warm up, pressed the pedal to move forward and my tractor stalled. I restarted it and tried again and it stalled again. Any suggestions on where I should begin to diagnose this issue?

My first thought would be the seat safety switch has failed or has become out of adjustment.
You could bypass the switch with a jumper wire to confirm the diagnosis.
It sounds like the tractor is shutting down because it thinks you're not in the seat!
Good Luck!

To TBN Plumbed. Be careful in bypassing Safety Switches. You might do it just to test the switch but do NOT run it with the switch bypassed.

Good advice... short it to test it but replace it if it is bad! One thing about safety switches is that you unintentionally begin to rely on them without a passing thought. Then some day it could bite you.

I really hate to suggest this ...
and I wouldn't even think of suggesting it, if it hadn't happened to me ...
Safety brake off?
