That's OK with me - skiing at Sunapee this weekend! They are staying open to the 19th.

We've had two ice creams a week apart at two outdoor favorite spots - Giffords in Bangor, and Sawyers in Newport as we were doing errands. They are open for the season. It was 31F in line at Sawyers and 37F at Giffords!

Skiing was great last weekend. Sunday was spectacular: 20's overnight, 38 most of the morning with cloudless skies and no wind. Hit 57 in the afternoon so my daughter jumped into Gunnison Brook....

Thats shows more clearly why they didn't want to dump it in the harbor.

In the meantime we are down about 2 1/2" of rain this month and may set a record for driest May.
