Having a problem with popup re-direction.

I never got popups until recently but now a Tim Horton popup blocks the page EVERY TIME I change the page. Or try to.

When I "x" out of the popup, it re-directs me to the prior page I was on. Then when I try to go back to the page I wanted to go to the pop up is there again and blocking the screen. Then when I "x" out of it I'm back and square one again. It's a vicious circle. I'm not going to install Google Chrome for the sake of the TBN but it's increasingly difficult to view the TBN.

Is this a permanent problem or will it right itself in time? I'm getting pretty tired of trying to trick the ad into letting me read the page.

Just load Adblock plus on your browser, and be done with ads and popups forever.

Yep, its available for IE, Chrome and Firefox.

I use Firefox with the popup blocker enabled and the AdBlock Plus add-on. No popup advertisement problems on this or any other site.

Hmm. We shouldn't be having that ad pop up. In fact, the only popup I'm aware of is the one that pops up when you aren't logged in and asks you to login or register. I'll talk to Muhammad about it and see if we can't track it down.

The problem has lessened and it seems to occur for a while and then not occur for a while. Beats me and may not even be TBN.

Yes, please check as it is getting worse with different vendors "popping up". In the past it was bestbuy and scion....now it is many more.

This on ipad and the only site I have visited over several years that I experience popup's.

well, I right clicked on the ad to get it's address and this came up.

Not sure if that came off the ad--it probably didn't--but that's what I got. When I try to "X" out of the ad, the screen redirects back a page. That's not a problem but if I'm responding to a post I then lose what I've written. I don't really know how to stop this ad since it never appeared before.

I'm logged in and a Nissan ad will not stop popping up on every page for several days. This is making it extremely annoying to search the forums.

It's also difficult to post. If you start typing for a thread and the pop up appears, when you 'x' out of it the screen re-directs to a new page and the thread response is gone. I lost a couple of lengthy replies and just decided to keep responses short or wait until these pop ups are gone. I don't get them on other sites so I'm guessing it's a part of this site. Beats me.

Yes, it is now the Nisssan ad and it is relentless on every click.

I'm on a big laptop. Never used a tablet.

In the middle of this reply I got the popup again and when I went to X out of it I was given the choice to "stay on this page" or "leave this page". The standard thing, for example when you get a double post situation. This is the first time I had been given this choice. I clicked stay on this page and was not--for the first time, redirected.

I don't know this if is a TBN thing or just generic thing but thanks for taking a look at it.

I am using my iPad with the safari browser. I have had this problem in the past and it was temporary. Now it's been about a week.

I get these stupidpopups if im on my ipad. I dont get them on my desktop. There so annoining that im considering dropping tractorbynet all together

Thanks for looking into this problem.

I am and it seems to be getting worse. Today for the first time I was getting a partial image of same page then kicked me out of Safari.

I would like to stress this is the only site I experience any problems like this...and I do not mean just forums I mean any site I visit.

Also, I just went on this site on my desktop...no problems...so problems on the tablet/ipad.
