I have the L3540 cab loaded R4s. LA724 loader but no remote in the rear. I just crossed 400 hours and am climbing by the day.

How many hours do you have?

Seems as prices vary drastically, I don't understand it.

I just cleaned mine all up and took photos of her to sell.

Just curious why you are going from a 3540 to a 52/5740? This isn't a criticism in any way, just curious. I have a 5240 and absolutely love it so I'm sure you'll be happy when you get the one you want, but you might want to start looking at some bigger attachments. Most of what I have so far is 72" but that is mainly because my dad and I share a lot of them and I didn't want to buy something he couldn't use at all behind his B series, but the 5240 will run 72" attachment no problem and can definitely go bigger.

No offense taken. Bottom line is like more power and the bigger loader. Sounds basic but that's it.

The rest of this post is just a ramble on some of what I use most. I run mainly 72" implements as well. It handles most of them really well. The rotary mower can bog down when going through thick stuff as can mowing and going up hill simultaneously.

I currently have a 5' tiller but will be upgrading to a 6' and if I eventually find the 52/57 hp then I'll get a 7' tiller.

I've not really run into an issue yet when pushing snow but I would like more power for this as well. Id eventually like to get a bigger bucket for snow relocation.

I have a 6' back blade and should go 7' so it covers the tracks when angled. So I'll probably go 7' if not 8' whenever I jump up.

I REALLY want a flail mower. Im contemplating getting a 6' or larger. But if I get my chance to get a more horse tractor Id really like the 8' alamo.

If I stick with what I have, I may get a 6' Caroni.

Sounds like good reasons to me. I run a 6' brush hog behind my 5240 and it doesn't break a sweat unless in some really tall, thick stuff and going up a hill. I have a couple steep hills I mow and am usually in medium range and low side, if I'm going up the hill and I'm behind on mowing I have to ease up on the hydro pedal a little bit. The power is very enjoyable, I think you'll really like it jumping up from the 3540.

That's my hope. There was a 5240 cab around the corner from me with 600 hrs sold for 27k. Never had a loader in it. Dealer installed a quicke 180c brand new. I saw it Thursday and played with it a little. I called Saturday to tell him I wanted it and it was sold already.

Not sure what I can get for mine and it's still under warranty until March of 2016. But I will keep my eyes open for the two tractor Id like to upgrade to. (That fits my budget)
