Sounds like a Troll to me. Very negative, bad attitude, very rude, no pictures, very limited info on why his tractor wont do the work.

He also won't answer and questions are take any advice.

@ OP, nice upgrades.

On the 12V mod, what connector did you end up splicing in? I get how you tapped the power, just not what the end connector was.

Thanks.

You need to find a wire that is hot all the time, and get a fuse holder and I scotch locked it. Then find the wire going to the 12v power port and do the same. I connected the 2 with the fuse holder.

On the BX I just used a couple of fuse taps and a short piece of wire. Find a fuse that is hot all the time and run it to the 12v power port fuse. On the BX you need to blow the fuse that is in the 12v power port spot or everything will be hot all the time.

Here is what the one on the BX looks like.

I made a mag lite mount. I mounted the Mag lite mounts to a piece of aluminum. I used 2 exiting holes in the tractor with tread sets and bolted the mount to the tractor. I still may paint the mount.

I was telling Scooby074 that I wanted to insulated the tractor. He suggested using foil insulation. I did some research and found that people had been using it on their car when they upgrade the stereo. I got some Reflectix double reflective insulation. It is available at Lowes. So far I have only added Reflectix to the floor and roof. I am hoping it will help keep some heat out. So far it seems like it has helped but I need to use the tractor some more to be sure.

First half cut out. I laid the scraps agianst the rubber mat to see how good the fit was.

Cutting out second half.

Second half cut out, getting ready to tape together.

Taped together.

Installed in tractor.

The cab top.

The Kubota L40 tractors (maybe all Kubotas) sold in North America do not have brake lights. They are wired for brake lights and have double filament bulbs, they just do not have a stop light switch under the dash. I got a stop light switch for a 1978 Ford F-150. It fits right in place where the switch should be.

Here is the switch, it came with the wiring.

Here it is installed.

Now I have the first Kubota L40 tractor in North America with brake lights:cool:
