New Chainsaw Question

Went to a green tractor retailer in the area with five stores. They have one store that deals lawn tractors and smaller agr. stuff. Went to get a carb kit for a MS250C. Parts man tells me he can order one for me, but they do not stock them. The have everything Stihl makes in the store. We do not rebuild carbs because of the cost. If we get one wrong it takes to long to do over in the shop and the customer has to pay for shop time and ends up mad. He offered to get what I needed in a couple of days.

Kinda forces you to buy one on E-bay for 1/3 the price and get free shipping and have the carb in 2 days. What a shame..Done it.

Sounds like they have a bad shop policy. If they screw up, they should be eating the shop time cost, not the customer. That's why car mechanics now have to charge by the job, not the hour.
