1720 Won't Start

Out of gear, pto off, clutch depressed. Battery and connections check good, I suppose that a bad cell would show on charger. I get the usual lights when key is turned on but glow plug lights don't show and it won't turn over.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

what happens when you turn the key? any noise at all?

There may be a safety switch that is broken or a wire to it may have come off. This happened to me on my 1715, the wire to the safety switch for the clutch had come off of the connector and I experienced the same symptoms you are.

Thanks for the reply. No lights when I try the glow plugs and no sounds when I try the starter. I'm going to change the ground cable today, its the old "mesh" type ground.
