Kubota BX25DLB-R-1
I have a 100' driveway covered in stone. A double-wide gate opens to a stone covered path running alongside my garage and leading to my yard. Behind my garage is also covered in stone. All this stone keeps my Kubota from making muddy ruts as I travel in and out of my yard. I keep my Kubota under a tarp-covered hoop that was my greenhouse structure in years past, and in the back of it I stow my backhoe, which sits on a reinforced pallet. The area where I stow the BX25 is the only area not covered in stone. I had made an attempt at keeping the weeds down using landscaping fabric, but over the years it got ripped up in several places and is now useless as a weed barrier. Now that I've completed the 40' long grey water drainage ditch that extends from my house (the ditch runs opposite the side of the the garage leading to my driveway) and cuts across the stone covered area most travelled be my tractor, I decided to clean up the area where I stow the Kubota and lay down stone.

So, today I removed the boxblade and 3 pt. hitch, mounted the backhoe, attached the forks to my loader, moved the reinforced pallet to the back of the yard, dismounted the backhoe, removed the pallet forks, replaced the 3 point hitch and the boxblade, attached my Ratchet Rake to clean up the aforementioned area, removed the Ratchet Rake, moved several tons of stone to my working area, spread it around using the boxblade, smoothed the stone out using the partially-filled loader, removed the boxblade and hitch, mounted the backhoe, attached the forks, moved the pallet to the newly created stone area, unmounted the backhoe, reinstalled the hitch and boxblade, and then refreshed the driveway with the unused stone I had delivered today. And that is just one day in the life of my amazing BX25, the best purchasse I've ever made.

Tractors big or small sure make life a whole lot easier and a heck of alot more fun in some cases . I bought one of those ratchet rakes this year and what a great tool it is .

Box blade is the first implement on my list to buy.

sounds like you are among the lucky/wise ones who sized his tractor just right

It would be better if you had two BX25's so you wouldn't have take the backhoe on and off. Right?

BX25 was my best all around Kubota. So handy, so capable, mostly fun to operate and frugal on fuel.

Agreed, HEC. I find my Ratchet Rake very useful. The area behind my rear fence is overgrown with weeds and it takes no time at all to scratch it all clear.
I couldn't do half of what I do without my boxblade, tk tom. Just be sure to get one that is the right fit for your tractor and built very weill. They take a beating.
My BX25 is the perfect size for my property, DeiselInHooters. Initially I was worried it couldn't handle the multitude of jobs I had planned for it. I'm no longer worried!
His and hers...I like that idea. Maybe she'll let me borrow hers when I need the backhoe. Or maybe not...

I've really taken a liking to the everythingattachments box blade. Very nice video on it, lots of info.

And as far as the BX goes, they are just awesome little tractors. I'm not sure even my B2650 will prove as useful as dad's BX23 has been. 9 years and 825hours later, that BX is amazing. Time will tell!

I could be wrong but don't the BX and B tractors share the same basic eng. etc. ? I had and old L235 that was handed down to me from my dad that he bought new many years ago . That tractor was simply amazing , wish I had kept it ,i have no idea how many hrs. were on it as the hr. meter quit many years befrore i got it .I wonder if the B series tractors today are useing that same basic eng. . I wish Everything Attachments would have free shipping to Maine as I like the looks of all their implements also .

My little B1700 still amazes on a regular basis...with loaded rears, FEL and with most of my 3ph implements it weighs a little over a ton...the only issue I have is not enough weight...so it just takes a little more time and finesse...

Two main attachments I coveted were a back hoe and a trencher...not being able to find either one at a reasonable price I opted for a used Ditch Witch 3610 I found on craigs list...got it for less than either one of the two attachments would have cost and it was one of the best investments I have in eqipment...

worked the bejesus out of mine this weekend...lifted a 100' roll of 6' fence up in the air and dropped it over a clothesline pole for a spindle, then used the 3pt palette forks to move and level a castiron bathtub and a greenhouse, and used them to lift an old shed up in the air, one corner at a time, to replace the corner posts and put in two pier blocks on the side that was sitting on redwood blocks for 30+ years. VERY handy!

YIKES!!! That looks like the warning sticker on the tractor that shows the dude with a 55 gallon drum 8' in the air. Safety first :D

My BX23 is the best investment I ever made, that little thing still amazes me after 10 years. 1 Hydro line (my fault) and 1 battery are the only hard part replacements I've made.

I was VERY careful about that, raised it from the side of the tractor after locating it next to the pole. I had it roped pretty well, but yes, that very sticker was right in front of me.
now I just tie a rope to my tensioner pole and back all the way around my fenceline.

Not a lot of weight... level surface and not moving. No problem... well done!

They do have limitations and can lay down in under one second. Usually real careful with FEL up but this was caused by pushing down with FEL bucket, yes, stuff moved after it was down and still running.

That is a really clever idea!

I have been wanting to contact them about a box blade, google maps shows me as being 942 miles from them - within their 1000 mile free shipping policy. But their map doesn't include Maine.... I wonder if they'd make an exception given the mileage? Where abouts are you? Obviously can't be too much further north or you'd be out of the 1000 mile range.
