took Wife's Car in the Oil change and tires rotated and ended up buying new Car.Its a 2014 Ford Escape seems to be a nice Car.

Good morning all. 68F going to 89F mostly sunny. Started running errands and did not get to anything in the to-do list! So today's list is a repeat of yesterday's list - clean boat, get battery, and mow. Showers are in the forecast on and off for the next few days so gotta get the mowing done.

Good Morning. 0915, partly cloudy, 82F with 91% humidity. Forecast high of 91F with 51% chance of showers this afternoon, and a low of 73F tonight. We have already had a passing shower this morning. Just enough to keep me from mowing. {which I didn't get around to yesterday} I have lots of Bell Pepper plants in cups, and a little bit of room left in the garden, so...... A cloudy rainy day is good for transplanting. I have to go into work later to set up for a big political deal that is happening tomorrow night. As of now, the plan is to join Margie and her friend for supper after their walk.

What is a "noxious weed" anyways? I thought a weed is anything growing where you don't want it to. :laughing: If there are noxious weeds, then there must be pleasant and helpful weeds too--to avoid redundancy, or an oxymoron.

62*F tonight and it never did rain today; it just looked like it would any minute now all afternoon. 60% chance tonight and tomorrow, 100% chance tomorrow night. We'll see ....

Six hours of bush hogging trails today. My neck is a little stiff and my brain is shaken, not stirred.

Dave1949....locally the weed ordinances include even turfgrasses that are in excess of 1 foot of height...the vacant lot across the road from me has 3 foot high weeds and quackgrass but because it's not occupied by a dwelling it's exempt from the ordinance...

67F and .04 inches rain since midnight.

Really pleased with my garage cleanup and the shelving I put in. Little bit of trash for removal on Friday and then start working on all that wood scrap for the fire pit.



Today will be mow, mow, mow.

Maybe all those lawn mower manufacturers are paying them off? Could that fly as a conspiracy theory? :laughing:

I wouldn't like living with those rules. I mow, or not, to get the blend of mature grasses and wild flower weeds I like to see. I have to mow eventually to keep open areas from reverting to woodland, but I may skip a year or two.

Well, no mowing yet. .28 inches rain since my last post. Some blue sky tweaking thru, but will have to dry a bit.
I did take advantage and make us a nice breakfast. Homemade corned beef hash with onion, both white and sweet potato and scrambled eggs. Dogs are getting their share as I type

I know what you mean. We bought a 2013 Camry last summer. Having a new car sure is nice. There are a thousand things about it that is better than my old truck. Fuel mileage being not the least of those. Sometimes I catch myself smiling, just driving to work.
