Pour #2 cup of coffee. 57°with partly cloudy skies. Heading to 84° with some heavy thunderstorms for forecast for the afternoon. Off to Physical Therapy for my right arm that has been bothering me since April.
Drew, will not take you long to adapt to the local dialect. My parent rented apartments in the 50's and 60's. One of the tenants were from NC. When I first met them I could not understand a single word they spoke. Did not take long though and there kids learned to speak Michigander.

Drew, try to look that up, because it's not only pronunciation, but you'll find some of the names can be different for the same thing. It'll be fun.

Thanks guys for all the well wishes.

I'm keeping a stiff upper lip and all that.

There is so much riding on EVERYTHING I do right now it seems... My Stress level can be a bit outrageous at times...

With this being our first time on a "Dad only" vacation as specified in the current custody agreement, I need it to be successful. I'm also filling out the interrogatories for my divorce, where every word has serious impact, I'm also aggressively looking for work, so far no second interviews though.

I truly appreciate how all of you are positive and supportive here. Thank you.

So I spend a long part of yesterday between Lunch and dinner with my youngest in the pool mostly, and at the Beech Mountain Lake "Beach" splashing in the lake. Watched some movies together and had a relaxing Sunday 1st actual day "on" vacation... I did get a couple pix, most of the time my phone was in ziplock, in my towel bag. I will download them and post when I can.

GM all...67 degrees here and looks like it will be overcast at least some of the day...good, as I have yard work to catch up on later. Heading for the local Goodwill at 9 am, then when we get home I will service her new crossover for the first time. Love the oil filter placement on the GM 2.4 engines...topside makes them easy to access and they drain with no mess. Catch you all later on...
