B7100 Seat bolt

Hi

I need to find a bolt for a B7100 for the bracket that fastens the seat to the tractor body. I was told it has to be a special bolt because it has to expand and contract with the heat for the tractor. I was also told a grade 5 or grade 8 won't work. The bolt is 1/2" x 1 1/4" I tried a regular bolt and it leaks a bit? Is there anything I can put on the bolt to help it seal?

First off you were given information by somebody that knows nothing of what they are talking about. Secondly, the only way that bolt is a standard bolt and not metric, is if somebody is if somebody already rethreaded the hole, or forced a 1/2" bolt into a 12mm hole.
